Customer Service Representative


Immediate temporary ?position? going through to December 2018 for an experienced customer service representative that has worked?in a manufacturing environment.? 1st shift Monday -?Friday hours.? ?


OVERVIEW


Maintains solid customer relations by handling customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism. ?Performs data entry using SAP software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.? Other duties may be assigned.? Nothing in this job description restricts management?s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  • Timely response to customer inquiries regarding product availability and the status of existing orders.? Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.




  • Communicate with customers and sales representatives efficiently and professionally. Assist customers with shipping information and order confirmations.? Work closely with the warehouse staff to maintain our goal of order processing reputation.




  • Process and enter customer orders efficiently and correctly.? Review orders for correct terms of sale and pricing and confirm all orders to customers via fax or email.




  • Perform daily maintenance on all existing orders as needed (change ship and cancel dates, reinstate orders, cancel order or line items, etc?.)




  • Follow-up daily on orders with pricing, quantity issues, and backorders.




  • Process customer returns.




  • Be a problem solver; resolving a variety of issues with customers




  • Handle sample requests as if they are all potential orders.




  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Knowledge of product lines, customer base and principles of customer satisfaction required.




  • Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel.? Knowledge of SAP system.




  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to present ideas, and/or facts and recommendations effectively.




  • Excellent telephone communication is essential.




  • Excellent follow-up, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task???

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE



  • A high school diploma required.? ?







  • Three plus years customer service experience required.?




  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.




Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.? Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.??SAP?computer entry experience preferred.? ?Ability to work Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
