Position Overview:
As a Vineyard Pesticide Applicator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and productivity of our vineyards.
You will be responsible for applying pesticides and other treatments to control pests, diseases, and weeds while adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough inspections of vineyard areas to identify pest and disease pressures.
Selecting and applying appropriate pesticides and treatments in accordance with integrated pest management (IPM) principles.
Operating and maintaining pesticide application equipment with precision and efficiency.
Monitoring weather conditions and other factors to optimize pesticide application timing.
Collaborating with vineyard managers and other team members to develop effective pest management strategies.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in vineyard operations or agricultural pest management preferred (But not required).
Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, safety protocols, and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one.
