Responsibilities:
Handle drafting needs for each project Create shop drawings in accordance with architectural drawings accurately with our companies' scope Use our companies Shop Drawing Templates and Template Details to help create Provide any revisions as required in a timely manner and resubmit to the Project Manager.
Handle material takeoff for fabrication of projects.
Required Education and Work
Experience:
5 yrs
AutoCAD experience Experience with CNC and Waterjets Experience nesting parts for programming of CNC files Construction/Fabrication experience Experience in exterior facades, custom fabrication, window/glazing systems, and sheet metal Millwork experience Project Management experience 2
years Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Include:
Exterior architecture, facades, windows Quick at problem solving and takes initiative Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects at once Extensive AutoCAD skills (3D Modeling a plus) Intermediate MS Office Suite skills Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite Skills Advanced verbal and written communication skills Advanced presentation and graphic communication skills Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with all levels of staff Strong listening, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills Construction experience.
