Summary:
Our traffic sign and safety products' company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Silk Screener.
The ideal candidate will possess some silk-screening experience, preferably working with sign fabrication.
The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a screen press and working with production duties as well as reporting any issues with production directly to maintenance supervisors.
All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply.
Training will be provided so candidates with little experience are still encouraged to apply.
Silk Screener Responsibilities and Duties:
Install framed silk screen onto the printing device Adjust the holding fixture Guide the sign screen onto sign substrates such as reflective or non-reflective sheeting, aluminum, coroplast, and plastic Use appropriate hand tools to ensure product quality Carry out basic quality and testing checks Maintain and repair equipment as needed Clean ink(s) off the screen(s) after use Properly store finished goods for drying purposes Properly store screens Maintain a clean and organized work station All other duties management deems necessary as related to this job General shop duties, if required Silk Screener Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma/GED required 1
years silk-screening experience preferred, but basic knowledge acceptable Strong work ethic and organizational skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted Able to work on foot for extended periods of time Reliable mode of transportation EOE/AA Job Type:
