- Operating, managing and maintaining the church office.
- Screening, scheduling, coordinating, and communication on Pastoral staff related duties and church functions.
Regular duties.
- Responsible for the master schedule and the coordination o f the Church's calendar and Pastor's calendar for meetings and events.
- Screening, organizing and collection of mail.
- Working with all chairpersons on committee dates, announcements in bulletins, email reminders to members and file meeting minutes provided.
Posting to Realm software.
- Scheduling all use offacilities forms for outside organizations and submit all paperwork to trustees for approval.
-Scheduling and planning to support special worship services, events, etc.
including support staffing, technology needs and decoration.
- Preparing weekly bulletins and special service bulletins.
- Coordinating webpage and social media postings.
-Screening and follow up on all phone, answering machine and email messages.
- Compile, layout, prepare all mailings - Posting attendance of all worship services.
- Coordinating publicity and advertising for church events beyond the church.
- Inventory and order supplies for:
office, worship material; Sunday School, Small Groups etc.
- Monitoring front door (security).
Occasional Duties.

- Compiling Charge Conference reports and booklets Compiling end of year (annual reports) - Coordinating volunteer office help as needed Screening person/family in crisis for emergency help and refer to the Pastoral staff -Coordinating the acknowledgement and tracking of Memorial Gifts - Directing inspectors (boiler, health department, fire department, etc.
) Job Description Position Title:
Administrative Assistant - Placing general maintenance calls to assist the facilities staff (plumber, exterminator, etc.
) - Monitoring capabilities of office equipment and recommend maintenance and/or replacement - Assist Committee members with office related duties - Additional or different hours may be required depending upon the timeliness oftask Skill and requirements - This person is the first faceo f the church.
Must be a clear communicator with a strong desire to help people in whatever capacity they are able.
A person ofChristian faith and a minimum ofa high school education - Possess excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills - Must be computer literate and able to operate all existing office machinery - Experienced using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Publisher Programs - Possess ability to learn new software - Experienced in scheduling and coordinating activities and projects - Professional and clean appearance - The job involves many confidential issues which cannot be shared with anyone Attendance This is a yearlong position which includes 10 vacation days, 2 personal days, and 4 sick days.
Any additional days taken, would be without pay.

The Administrative Assistant will be asked to report to work during these weather-related issues as soon as possible, when the roads are safe to travel.
